How military aviation is depicted in films & TV. Images from the archives.
We will also be interviewing a WW 2 vet.
Feb. 6 - Brig Gen. A. Solomon will talk about the mission of the MD ANG at home & abroad.
Mar 5 - a panel discussion on the challenges & opportunities for women in aviation.
Apr 2. - Bob Dorr will talk about his new book - "Mission to Berlin" about the 8th AF.
May 7 - Former NASA astronaut Mary Cleave will talk about her experiences.
Other Events
Gemini XLV
The Museum marked the 45th anniversary of Project Gemini on Saturday, September 24.
The Martin Company and Maryland played a large part in the success of the program that followed Project Mercury and paved the way for the Apollo moon missions.
The day kicked off with a panel discussion featuring leading experts in the field and those who saw the program first-hand. The activities ended with a fund-raising Dinner-Dance at the Sparrows Point Country Club. The evening's event featured live music and the Museum's first-ever silent auction.
